James Egan, a California resident, suffered an industrial injury at Mercury, Nevada, while employed as a structural ironworker by Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Company, Inc., hereinafter called Reynolds.*fn1 The Industrial Accident Commission (the commission)*fn2 awarded Egan workmen's compensation benefits for his injury. Reynolds seeks to annul the award, contending that the commission had no jurisdiction over Egan's claim. The primary question presented is whether the commission correctly found that the contract of employment between Egan and Reynolds was executed in California. We conclude that the commission's determination must be upheld.
